Terms of Service

The terms that govern your use of Comonic's website, courses, and services.

Last updated: June 23, 2026

Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of comonic.org and Comonic’s products and services (the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

Accounts

Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and remain responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Services.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services unlawfully or in violation of these Terms;
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or related systems;
  • Copy, resell, or redistribute course materials or content except as expressly permitted;
  • Submit false information or impersonate any person or organization.

Purchases, payments, and refunds

Prices for audits, workshops, and courses are shown at the point of purchase. Payments are processed securely by Stripe, and you authorize us to charge the payment method you provide.

Because our offerings include scheduled time and prepared deliverables, refund eligibility may be limited. Unless required by law or stated otherwise at purchase, contact us at support@comonic.org and we’ll work with you in good faith on cancellations and refunds.

Intellectual property

The Services, including course content, reports, text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by Comonic or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use purchased content for your own learning and internal business use. Any certifications or badges we issue remain subject to our guidelines.

Your content

You retain ownership of the information and materials you submit (for example, assessment responses or messages). You grant us a license to use that content solely to provide and improve the Services. You are responsible for the content you submit and confirm you have the right to share it.

AI-assisted services and no guarantee of results

Our Services may include AI-assisted analysis and recommendations. AI is a tool to support human decision-making — it does not replace your judgment, responsibility, or professional advice. Recommendations are provided for your consideration, and we do not guarantee any particular outcome, savings, or result.

Third-party services

The Services rely on and may link to third parties (such as Stripe, Calendly, and others). We are not responsible for the content, products, or practices of third parties, and your use of their services is governed by their terms.

Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Comonic and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid to Comonic for the Services giving rise to the claim in the 12 months before the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Comonic from claims, losses, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the Services or violation of these Terms.

Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Services. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Comonic maintains its principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located there for any dispute that is not subject to arbitration or small-claims resolution.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
